Knocked Conscious with Mark Puls
Knocked Conscious with Mark Puls explores the deep and often tangled intersections of society, culture, science, spirituality, and philosophy. This podcast isn’t just about presenting ideas; it’s a journey into the heart of what we believe and why we believe it. Here, the goal is to: Spark Introspection: Encourage listeners to look within and question their own views. Challenge Beliefs: Engage in a critical analysis of established and emerging ideas. Cultivate New Perspectives: Introduce novel viewpoints and then rigorously debate their merits. Unite Science and Spirituality: Highlight the complementary nature of these fields, advocating for a synthesis where both are seen as essential to understanding our existence. Foster Enlightened Conversations: Serve as a beacon for those yearning for deep, thoughtful, and expansive discussions. By weaving together seemingly disparate threads, Knocked Conscious invites its audience into a space where complexity is embraced, and curiosity is the compass. Beer Googgles (double-E, double-O, double-G) is basically a show where we get drunk and look-up random $#!T on the internet. It’s the lighter side of our personalities. ***Disclaimer*** We are childish boys who make inappropriate jokes and some of them are extremely insensitive.

5/27/2026: White Pill Wednesday with Mark Maresca!
Wednesday May 27, 2026
Wednesday May 27, 2026
This week on Knocked Conscious with Mark Puls, the vibes are suspiciously optimistic. That’s right, it’s White Pill Wednesday.
Mark welcomes Mark Maresca of the The White Pillbox Podcast and Substack fame for a conversation that dares to ask the forbidden question: What if everything isn’t completely doomed?
In a world fueled by outrage algorithms, doomscrolling, collapsing timelines, and people arguing with microwave ovens on the internet, Mark and Mark crack open the elusive “white pills” of optimism, solutions, meaning, and maybe even a little sanity. Probably not too much sanity though. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
Expect a lively, humorous, and thought-provoking ride through culture, media manipulation, modern madness, spiritual resilience, and how to keep your soul intact while the timeline continues to glitch in real time. Somewhere between existential crisis and hopeful awakening, the two Marks try to locate the tiny flickers of light & Liberty still hiding in the chaos, and laugh at the absurdity along the way.
If you’ve been black-pilled, red-pilled, blue-pilled, or just accidentally took something from a gas station labeled “neuro booster,” this episode is for you.
Hope? In this economy? Tune in and find out.

5/20/2026: Knocked Conscious welcomes John Graham to discuss the paranormal
Wednesday May 20, 2026
Wednesday May 20, 2026
Mark welcomes back legendary adventurer, storyteller, and professional line-stepper John Graham, founder of the Giraffe Heroes Project and author of "QUEST — Risk, Adventure and the Search for Meaning".
This time, we leave the safe little cubicle of “normal reality” behind.
Mark and John dive deep into the strange waters of paranormal experiences, psychic phenomena, synchronicities, intuition, consciousness, remote viewing, and the moments that make even hardcore skeptics quietly whisper, "OK, that’s weird...” From spiritual encounters to mind-bending coincidences, John shares stories from a lifetime spent chasing meaning far beyond the material world.
Was it intuition? Psychic ability? Cosmic connection? Too much coffee at 2am?We investigate all of it.
Expect thoughtful conversation, wild stories, a few laughs, and just enough existential discomfort to keep your third eye slightly twitching. If you’ve ever wondered whether reality is stranger than we’ve been told, this episode is for you.

5/13/2026: f By Whiskey welcome Natali Morris of Redacted News
Wednesday May 13, 2026
Wednesday May 13, 2026
Well, the FBI hasn’t shut us down, YouTube hasn’t fully vaporized us, and somehow neither Mark nor Jake has been fist-fought in a Buc-ee’s parking lot over a political take yet, but all good things, especially questionable ones, must come to an end.
This is the FINAL episode of If By Whiskey.
After offending activists, confusing boomers, annoying libertarians, horrifying Reddit moderators, and treating mainstream narratives like a motel Bible in a Vegas strip club, IBW are riding off into the sunset the only way possible: loud, reckless, mildly inappropriate, and probably one joke away from demonetization.
And for this glorious trainwreck of a finale, Mark & Jake welcome very special guest Natali Morris of Redacted . Why? Because when civilization feels like it’s being run by interns and pharmaceutical commercials, you bring in someone who’s been covering the madness in real time.
We’re diving headfirst into propaganda, censorship, collapsing institutions, media manipulation, government theater, internet brain rot, and the modern reality that asking basic questions now gets you treated like you just exposed yourself at a PTA meeting.
And naturally, it all comes back to the legendary “If By Whiskey” fallacy:
If by whiskey you mean freedom, free speech, dangerous ideas, unfiltered conversations, and the God-given right to say “this all feels kinda insane” without being digitally waterboarded by blue-check hall monitors. then inject it directly into our veins.
But if by whiskey you mean corrupt institutions, corporate puppets, rage-bait politics, influencer grifters, and grown adults treating politicians like Marvel superheroes with voting record, then kindly make your way to the door. This is the end of the weekly chaos. The final gathering of the politically unemployable. The last helicopter ride out of the culture war apocalypse.
…but not forever.
IBW will reunite LIVE at FreedomFest 2026 this July for one final degenerate family reunion featuring liberty nerds, internet goblins, recovering cable news addicts, and at least two people who definitely shouldn’t be allowed near a microphone after midnight.
One last episode. One last rant. One last inappropriate analogy that’ll make half the audience laugh and the other half start a Reddit thread.
Wednesday night.Wear protection. The comment section is gonna get rough.

Wednesday May 06, 2026
5/6/2026: IBW welcome Domenic Scarcella, author of "Good Neighbor, Bad Citizen"
Wednesday May 06, 2026
Wednesday May 06, 2026
Mark and Jake are back! This week’s episode is the conversational equivalent of kicking a hornet’s nest with a philosopher holding the stick.
They’re joined by Dominic Scarcella, author of Good Neighbor, Bad Citizen. It's a book that politely (and then not-so-politely) asks:
What if being a “good citizen” is exactly how things go wrong?
Yeah… we go there.
This episode dives into the uncomfortable idea that history’s most famous execution wasn’t carried out by cartoon villains, but by rule-followers, system-loyalists, and people doing exactly what they were trained to do. As the book bluntly puts it:
“Good cops kill Jesus.”
Not corrupt ones. Not rogue ones. The good ones. The ones who follow orders, trust the system, and go home at the end of the day thinking they did the right thing.
Totally normal, easy, relaxing conversation.
But it’s not all existential dread. The guys also dig into the quieter, almost-missed moments that flip the whole story:
A random act of compassion (just wiping someone’s face) becomes “more than almost anyone else contributes”A definition of courage that has nothing to do with force, and everything to do with integrity: acting “in accordance with one’s best self, in spite of risks and danger”
And a radical claim that might make both sides of the political aisle equally uncomfortable:
“There are zero examples… of Jesus teaching coercive, invasive acts to keep social order.”
Which raises a fun little question:If the system demands harm… and you comply… are you still the good guy?
From mob mentality to moral outsourcing, from “just doing your job” to the nature of real courage, this episode doesn’t hand you answers. It hands you a mirror.
Also discussed:
Why “strength in numbers” might not actually be strengthWhether love and hate are feelings, or choicesAnd why small acts of mercy might matter more than grand displays of righteousness
It’s thoughtful. It’s provocative. It might step on your toes a little.
But hey—if it doesn’t make you question something… are you even listening?

4/30/2026: knocked Conscious welcomes William (@im4iamWe on X)
Thursday Apr 30, 2026
Thursday Apr 30, 2026
What happens when you lean all the way into the “woo”… and don’t apologize for it?
This week on Knocked Conscious, Mark sits down with William (@iam4iamWe on X) for a deep, unfiltered dive into the mysteries most people either mock or secretly wonder about at 2am. We’re talking Hermeticism, the “One Mind,” the idea that separation might just be the greatest illusion ever sold, and whether “we are all connected” is profound truth, or cosmic cope.
From ancient esoteric principles to modern consciousness theory, this conversation walks the line between philosophy, spirituality, and straight-up reality-bending speculation. Is there a hidden framework tying everything together? Are we fragments of a single awareness experiencing itself? And if that’s true… what does it actually mean for how we live?
No gurus. No incense sales pitch. Just two minds poking at the edges of something bigger—and seeing what stares back.
If you’ve ever felt like there’s more going on beneath the surface… this one’s for you.

4/29/2026: If By Whiskey welcome Colin (@_brainzilla_ on X)
Wednesday Apr 29, 2026
Wednesday Apr 29, 2026
This week on If By Whiskey, Mark & Jake throw open the saloon doors and let Colin (@_brainzilla_ on X) of colinprograms.com walk in like a one-man stress test for the internet.
If you’ve ever wondered what happens when you mix coding skills with zero interest in playing nice online… yeah, that’s this episode.
Colin’s been lurking in the digital trenches—building things, breaking things, and poking at the systems everyone else is too polite (or too scared) to question. From tech censorship vibes to the absurdity of online culture, nothing’s off-limits and nothing’s getting a PR-friendly spin.
This is not a “safe conversation.”This is not a “balanced panel.”This is three guys pulling threads until something important—or hilarious—falls apart.
Expect hot takes, uncomfortable laughs, and at least one moment where someone says what you’re definitely not supposed to say out loud.
Pour a drink. Log off your better judgment.Let’s see what breaks.

4/22/2026: If By Whiskey welcome John Graham of Giraffe Heroes Project
Wednesday Apr 22, 2026
Wednesday Apr 22, 2026
This week on If By Whiskey, Mark & Jake welcome John Graham of the Giraffe Heroes Project—a guy who didn’t just talk about making a difference… he built an entire global movement around it.
John is the Executive Director of the Giraffe Heroes Project, which has spent decades spotlighting ordinary people who take real risks to do the right thing (aka the folks making the rest of us look like we “retweeted something brave” and went back to snacks). His work has recognized thousands of unsung heroes, inspired classrooms, and quietly pushed people everywhere to be a little bolder and a little less comfortable.
Plus, he literally wrote the book on it: Quest—Risk, Adventure and the Search for Meaning, where he dives into what drives people to choose purpose over comfort and why a meaningful life usually comes with at least a little chaos.
Naturally, Mark & Jake respond to all this high-minded courage with jokes, whiskey, and some light self-reflection like, “Does ordering the second drink count as risk-taking?”
It’s fun, it’s thoughtful, and it might even nudge you to do something mildly heroic… or at least slightly less lazy.
Pour a drink, hang out, and meet a guy who’s spent a lifetime proving that heroism isn’t rare, it’s just usually underreported.

4/15/2026: If By Whiskey welcome Toni Bones
Wednesday Apr 15, 2026
Wednesday Apr 15, 2026
This week on If By Whiskey, Mark & Jake pour something strong and welcome the one and only Toni Bones—self-proclaimed OG libertarian, professional line-crosser, and veteran of more legal battles than most people have had hot dinners.
Toni pulls up a chair to share her story—how a love of liberty turned into a front-row seat (and occasional defendant’s chair) in the never-ending clash between the individual and… well, everything else. It’s equal parts war story, cautionary tale, and “you won’t believe this actually happened.”
Along the way, the guys dig into the messy, hilarious, and sometimes absurd reality of standing on principle when the system would really prefer you didn’t. Expect laughs, a little chaos, and at least a few moments where everyone collectively asks, “Wait… that’s legal?”
It’s a conversation about freedom, friction, and what happens when you refuse to just go along to get along—served neat, no chaser.

4/8/2026: If By Whiskey welcome Amity (@AmiltyLee3 on X)
Wednesday Apr 08, 2026
Wednesday Apr 08, 2026
This week on If By Whiskey, Mark and Jake pour something strong and invite Amity (@amitylee13 on X) to help make sense of a world that’s clearly running on bad decisions and zero adult supervision.
What follows? A no-BS, no-filter dive into the week’s headlines, cultural absurdities, and whatever else gets dragged into the blast radius. Expect sharp takes, side-eye at the establishment, and the kind of commentary that definitely won’t make it onto cable news without a five-second delay.
Amity comes in swinging—bringing the perfect mix of humor, edge, and “did she really just say that?” energy—while Mark and Jake do their best to keep things on the rails (they don’t).
It’s part therapy session, part barroom debate, and part “we’re all thinking it, they’re just saying it out loud.”
Grab a drink. Lower your expectations for civility. And enjoy the ride.

Wednesday Apr 01, 2026
Wednesday Apr 01, 2026
Clock out...permanently? This week on If By Whiskey, Mark and Jake are joined by William (@iam4iamWe on X) to raise a glass to the end of work as we know it and drink to whatever comes next.
We’re talking UHI (Universal High Income). The robots aren't just taking our jobs, they giving us...an allowance?! Is this the long-promised age of abundance, or the most comfortable soft-launch of a dystopia ever conceived?
Between laughs and drinks, we break down the week’s chaos, poke at the future of AI-driven economics, and ask the important questions:If nobody works, what do we do all day?Who’s really in charge? Is it the humans, or the code? And why does this all feel just a little too good to be true?
It’s part celebration, part existential crisis, and part “should we be worried?”
So grab your favorite drink and join us at the bar. The future might be automated, but the conversation is still 100% human...for now.

Thursday Mar 26, 2026
Thursday Mar 26, 2026
Pull up a chair, pour something strong, and prepare for a lively night of liberty, laughs, and a little theological curveball.
This week on If By Whiskey, Mark and Jake are joined by Jacob Winograd of The LCI Green Room for a wide-ranging, good-spirited romp through the latest news, politics, and whatever else happens to wander into the conversation. Expect sharp takes, questionable transitions, and at least one moment where everyone wonders, “How did we get here?”
But we’re not stopping at headlines—oh no. We’re diving into the deep end as we ask Jacob a question that’s equal parts philosophical and spicy: can Christianity and libertarianism (or even anarchism) actually coexist… or are we mixing oil, water, and holy water?
It’s thoughtful, it’s irreverent, it’s occasionally profound—but mostly it’s three guys having a great time chasing big ideas with a glass in hand.
Join us live, bring your questions, and enjoy the spiritual fireworks!

Wednesday Mar 18, 2026
This week on If By Whiskey (LIVE Wednesday, 3/18 at 8p ET), Mark and Jake invite you to pull up a chair, pour a drink, and hang out for a laid-back, wide-open conversation about the week in news—and whatever else comes to mind.
It’s part headlines, part live chat Q&A, and part “where did that even come from?” as the guys follow the conversation wherever it leads. Whether you’re here for the takes, the laughs, or just to unwind midweek, you’re in the right place.
Of course, there’s also been a little internet mischief along the way—Mark managed to catch the attention of Gad Saad after calling him a self-proclaimed Mossad agent (which he is), and even got on the radar of James Lindsay after tossing out a “cuck to Israel” comment. All in good fun… mostly.
At the end of the day, it’s just a couple of guys, a bit of whiskey, and a community-driven conversation that can go anywhere.

Andrew Heaton (@MightyHeaton on X). Host of The Political Orphanage and author of Tribalism Is Dumb, Heaton drops by If By Whiskey to talk about why humans keep forming political dodgeball teams and immediately start throwing rocks.
Expect laughs, mild philosophical whiplash, and at least one attempt to solve America’s tribal fever over a glass of whiskey. Is tribalism baked into our caveman brains? Can we rise above it? And most importantly, which tribe gets custody of the whiskey?
Pour a drink, abandon your partisan war paint at the door, and join us for a fun, witty, and occasionally dangerously reasonable conversation. 🥃

3/4/2026: Federalism, Decentralization & Telling DC to Chill w/ Suzanne Sherman
Wednesday Mar 04, 2026
Wednesday Mar 04, 2026
Mark and Jake pour a stiff one and welcome the one and only Suzanne Sherman — aka @CowgirlEsq — constitutional attorney, rancher, and author of FEDERALISM: How Decentralization Can Save America.
Yes, you read that right. She can quote the Constitution, argue the 10th Amendment, and probably outshoot you before breakfast.
This week on If By Whiskey, we ask the dangerous question: What if the solution to America’s problems isn’t more Washington… but less? Suzanne makes the case that decentralization isn’t radical — it’s original recipe. From federal overreach to state sovereignty, from bureaucratic bloat to local control, we explore whether giving power back to the states might actually lower everyone’s blood pressure (no promises).
Expect:🥃 Whiskey-fueled constitutional nerdery🐎 Cowgirl-level common sense📜 A little Founders talk (the powdered wig kind)🔥 And the bold idea that maybe, just maybe, D.C. doesn’t need to run your life
Is federalism the escape hatch? Is decentralization the peaceful rebellion? Or do Mark and Jake just like saying “enumerated powers” after two pours?
Saddle up. It’s going to be a fun one.

2/25/2026: Are we just NPCs in the Tuck-Huck Simulation? w/ Brent Freeman & Rob Yates
Wednesday Feb 25, 2026
Wednesday Feb 25, 2026
Jake and Mark are back behind the microphones (and possibly behind a few glasses), and this time they’re joined by the always thoughtful Brent Freeman of Aiming Up and the sharp-tongued Rob Yates of The Libertarian Parry for a conversation that starts with fireworks and ends somewhere in the astral plane.
We’re diving headfirst into the now-infamous Tuck vs. Huck interview — the takes, the tension, the “did-he-really-just-say-that” moments — and breaking it down the only way If By Whiskey can: with wit, side-eyes, and at least one historical analogy that probably goes too far.
But because this is If By Whiskey, there’s a strong chance we’ll veer from political sparring into consciousness, reality, and whether we’re all just NPCs in someone else’s campaign strategy. Expect sharp analysis, unexpected metaphysics, and the kind of banter that makes you question both the media narrative and your own existence.
It’s politics. It’s philosophy. It’s probably a bad idea.

2/20/2026: Beyond the Narrative: Kristan T. Harris Gets Knocked Conscious
Friday Feb 20, 2026
Friday Feb 20, 2026
No filters. No script. No sacred cows.
Mark sits down with Kristan T. Harris of The Rundown Live for a conversation that kicks the hive and laughs while it buzzes. Media narratives, inconvenient questions, internet rabbit holes, and the stories polite society pretends not to hear — it’s all on the table.
Expect sharp takes, dark humor, and the kind of back-and-forth that makes you say, “They really just went there.” This isn’t safe, sanitized podcasting — it’s raw, curious, and unapologetically awake.
If you like your conversations unfiltered, your ideas challenged, and your comedy slightly dangerous, welcome to Knocked Conscious.

2/18/2026: Hortoneers, assemble! If By Whiskey welcome Scott Horton
Wednesday Feb 18, 2026
Wednesday Feb 18, 2026
Pour a glass, brace your worldview, and maybe hide your foreign policy takes under the table — because this episode of If By Whiskey gets a masterclass in history, war, and why everything is way more complicated than your favorite talking head told you.
Jake and Mark welcome the legendary Scott Horton — host, researcher, war-history deep diver, and walking encyclopedia of U.S. foreign policy — for a conversation that swings from serious geopolitical insight to the kind of laughs that only happen when heavy topics meet good whiskey and sharp wit. Representing the Libertarian Institute, Scott brings receipts, context, and enough historical knowledge to make your high-school textbooks feel personally attacked.
We talk about the ideas behind books like Provoked and Enough Already, dive into the chaos of modern foreign policy, and somehow still manage to laugh through the existential dread. Along the way: myths get busted, narratives get questioned, and Jake and Mark try (with varying success) to keep up.
Also in the mix — the mission behind the Scott Horton Academy, what it takes to actually understand history instead of just arguing about it online, and why nuance is both essential and wildly unpopular.
Expect:🥃 sharp takes🥃 historical rabbit holes🥃 jokes that probably shouldn’t work but somehow do🥃 and one of the most informed (and entertaining) conversations you’ll hear this year
If you came for laughs, you’re covered. If you came to learn something, buckle up. If you came for chaos… well, you found the right podcast.

This episode is a free-flowing, whiskey-fueled romp through political absurdity, civic faceplants, unexpected moments of competence, and the eternal mystery of how some people passed eighth grade and got elected.

This week on If By Whiskey, Jake and Mark pour a stiff one and welcome Dr. Miachel Rectenwald (@RecTheRegime on X)—author, philosopher, and professional buzzkill of establishment narratives. From woke academia to regime-approved “truth,” nothing escapes unscathed as Doc Rectenwald dissects modern insanity with scalpel-sharp logic and zero patience for nonsense. Tuesday Jan 27, 2026
What happens when two Marks get knocked conscious at the same time? 🧠💥 You get a conversation that refuses to stay inside the box—white pill or otherwise. On this episode of Knocked Conscious, Mark welcomes Mark Maresca (@markmaresca3 on X), host of The White Pillbox Podcast, for a wide-ranging, mind-bending dive into the ideas, narratives, and uncomfortable truths shaping the modern moment. Expect big questions, skeptical laughs, unexpected optimism, and the kind of dialogue that makes you pause the episode just to stare at the wall for a minute. This isn’t doomscrolling. It’s not cope. It’s curiosity with teeth—and maybe a prescription for thinking a little more clearly in an upside-down world. Take the white pill. Or don’t. Either way, you’re about to get Knocked Conscious. 🎙️🧠 🎙️ New to streaming or looking to level up? Check out StreamYard and get $10 discount! 😍 https://streamyard.com/pal/d/5888413371072512

1/21/2026: If by Redacted, you mean Natali & Clayton Morris
Wednesday Jan 21, 2026
Wednesday Jan 21, 2026
Jake and Mark crack the bottle and welcome Natali & Clayton Morris of Redacted News (@RedactedNews on X) for an episode that treats the mainstream narrative like a piñata—and swings hard.
From media sleight-of-hand and government “trust us” moments to war hype, economic panic, and the stories that mysteriously never make the evening news, nothing survives without getting side-eyed. Natali and Clayton bring the receipts, the scars, and the savagely calm delivery. Jake brings the whiskey. Mark brings the questions HR would strongly advise against.
No filters. No safe takes. Just sharp minds, dark humor, and a whole lot of “wait…why aren’t we allowed to talk about that?”Pour one. This episode earns it. 🥃

1/15/2026: Sterling Cooley, Rob Yates & Brent Freeman
Friday Jan 16, 2026
Friday Jan 16, 2026
In this episode of Knocked Conscious, Mark sits down with Sterling Cooley (@SterlingCooley), Rob Yates (@ProsperCLT2023), and Brent Freeman (@bgetsbetter) for a conversation that doesn’t just discuss consciousness—it interrogates it.
Together, they explore the edges of awareness, identity, perception, and meaning. Is consciousness emergent… or fundamental? Are we observing reality, or participating in its creation? Where do science, philosophy, spirituality, and lived experience collide—and where do they contradict each other?
This is not a tidy, algorithm-friendly chat. It’s a deep, wandering, occasionally unsettling exploration that invites listeners to question what they think they know about the mind, the self, and the nature of reality itself.
If you’ve ever felt that something about existence doesn’t quite add up—and that the real answers live between the disciplines—this episode is for you.
⚡️Listener warning: You may walk away with more questions than answers. That’s the point.

Wednesday Jan 14, 2026
Wednesday Jan 14, 2026
Jake and Mark pour a stiff one and welcome Teri Batts (@battst76 on X) for a conversation that zigzags between sharp takes, hard laughs, and the kind of honest banter that only happens when the whiskey’s doing some of the talking. 🥃
Expect zero talking points, questionable conclusions, and plenty of “wait… how did we get here?” moments as Teri keeps the guys on their toes with wit, perspective, and just enough chaos to make it interesting. Politics may wander in, culture might get roasted, and nothing—absolutely nothing—is safe from a side-eye and a punchline.
If by whiskey you mean candid conversations, unfiltered opinions, and laughs that hit harder than the last pour… you’re in the right place.

Tuesday Jan 13, 2026
On this episode of Knocked Conscious, Mark welcomes Tyler Todt and Brent Freeman for a wide-open, no-guardrails conversation that refuses to stay in one lane. From culture and politics to personal evolutions, hard questions, and the uncomfortable space between certainty and curiosity, nothing is off the table—and nothing is overly rehearsed.
No hot takes for the sake of hot takes. No pre-approved narratives. Just three minds colliding in real time, following the conversation wherever it decides to go.
Come curious. Leave slightly rattled. That’s kind of the point.

Friday Jan 09, 2026
Friday Jan 09, 2026
Jake and Mark welcome Toad (@LearnToToad), and from there the rails are immediately located… just so they can be ignored. 🥃🐸
This episode is three guys asking “what if?” until it turns into “oh no,” followed by laughter, heresy, culture war drive-bys, media nonsense, incentive rot, and the kind of opinions that get you shadowbanned mid-sentence. Nothing is sacred, everything is mocked, and common sense shows up drunk but somehow still smarter than the experts.
There are no talking points. No safe spaces. No apologies. Just vibes, instincts, and the creeping realization that the internet may have been a mistake—but at least it’s funny.
If by whiskey, you mean pouring a stiff drink and watching the Overton Window get frog-marched into traffic… welcome home. 🥃🔥🐸

1/2/2026: Knocked Conscious welcomes Tiffany Grandstaff
Friday Jan 09, 2026
Friday Jan 09, 2026
Mark pulls no punches on this episode of Knocked Conscious, welcoming Tiffany Grandstaff—content strategist, copywriting assassin, and trauma-informed storyteller who’s allergic to fluff and professionally committed to making noise.
Tiffany's Substack: https://substack.com/@tgrandstaff?
Tiffany has spent years helping entrepreneurs, startups, and established brands stop whispering “authenticity” and start saying something that actually lands. She’s the vivacious voice behind changemakers, resilient trauma survivors, and businesses tired of sounding like LinkedIn bots in a Patagonia vest.
This conversation goes places: storytelling that doesn’t sanitize pain, marketing that doesn’t insult intelligence, and why real connection beats polished nonsense every time. Expect sharp insights, uncomfortable truths, a few laughs, and a reminder that your story doesn’t need fixing—it needs telling honestly.
If you’re done with buzzwords, brand cosplay, and trauma tourism—and ready to sound like a human with a pulse—this one will knock you conscious.

What follows is a high-proof, low-filter conversation that ricochets through politics, culture, power, liberty, and whatever sacred cows wander into range.
Expect blunt takes, sarcastic laughs, uncomfortable truths, and at least one moment where someone says, “yeah… that’s probably getting clipped.” If by whiskey you mean uncut opinions, zero tone-policing, and three guys absolutely refusing to behave—congrats, you found your people.

Wednesday Dec 24, 2025
Wednesday Dec 24, 2025
Jake & Mark invite filmmaker and professional troublemaker Jason Rink to the show—because apparently they hadn’t gotten themselves in enough algorithmic hot water this month. What follows is a conversational bar fight: jokes flying, truth bombs detonating, and at least three topics that would make a PR rep faint straight into their decaf latte.
Jason shows up with stories you’re legally discouraged from repeating, Jake keeps poking the censorship bear with a stick, and Mark is just trying to make sure the podcast feed doesn’t mysteriously “malfunction” afterward.

12/16/2025: If By Whiskey welcome Dan McKnight of Defend the Guard
Tuesday Dec 16, 2025
Tuesday Dec 16, 2025
In this episode of If By Whiskey, Mark welcomes Dan McKnight, founder of Defend the Guard and Bring Our Troops Home, for a sober and urgent conversation about the expanding use of America’s National Guard far beyond U.S. borders.
Together, they examine the constitutional questions surrounding the deployment of National Guard units overseas—who has the authority, where that authority ends, and what it means when guardsmen are placed in harm’s way without a formal declaration of war. The discussion confronts the real-world consequences of these policies, including the deaths of two Iowa National Guardsmen in Syria and the recent attacks on two Guard members in Washington, D.C.
This episode moves past slogans and soundbites to focus on accountability, constitutional limits, and the human cost borne by citizen-soldiers and their families. A critical listen for anyone concerned about civil-military authority, foreign entanglements, and the future of the National Guard in an era of endless conflict.

Mark welcomes back his OG partner-in-crime, Woodsey — but don’t let the reunion fool you. This time, the boys are diving into the not-so-fun corner of the internet: the exploding world of online gambling and predictive markets.
From apps that let you bet on everything short of your neighbor’s breakfast choice to the “oops… guess I’m bankrupt now” stories popping up across America, Mark and Woodsey break down how these digital vices are getting disturbingly good at emptying wallets.
But don’t worry — it’s If By Whiskey, so the conversation stays lively, curious, and just irreverent enough to keep you laughing while you learn. Expect sharp insights, a few rants, and the occasional “wait… people really bet on THAT?” moment.

We dive into the sneaky ways regulations wreck your life without you even knowing it—from the businesses that never open, to the inventions that never see daylight, to the bacon-wrapped hot dogs that never get legalized. Per explains how bureaucrats with clipboards and zero skin in the game have turned the economy into a playground of permission slips, compliance costs, and wasted potential.
It’s Bastiat meets black coffee—with a shot of whiskey and a dash of rage.
So if you've ever felt like you need a license to blink or a permit to think, this episode is your jam. Buckle up, raise your glass, and join us for a no-holds-barred conversation about how to deregulate your brain and maybe—just maybe—the world.

Tuesday Aug 26, 2025
Tuesday Aug 26, 2025
In this follow-up episode of If By Whiskey, Jason and Mark keep the conversation on A.I. rolling—minus William this time, but with even more whiskey-fueled skepticism. We dive deeper into what artificial intelligence really means for freedom, work, and wealth in a world where politicians think slapping a regulation on silicon chips is the same thing as “protecting” humanity. From cubicle-crushing automation to the possibility of robo-bureaucrats who never sleep, we wrestle with whether A.I. is the greatest tool of liberation since the printing press… or just the newest excuse for central planners to tighten the leash. Pour yourself a glass and settle in—this round is all about decoding tech hype, deflating utopians, and asking the question that really matters: will A.I. make us freer, or just make the taxman faster?

In this episode of If By Whiskey, Jason and Mark invite William (@iam4iamWe on X) to talk about the rise of A.I.—you know, that thing half the internet thinks will save humanity and the other half thinks will turn us into Soylent Green. We dig into what it means for jobs, human creativity, and wealth creation, while taking a few swings at central planners who think they can “manage” technological progress. Will A.I. liberate us from cubicle slavery… or just automate the IRS so it can garnish your paycheck in milliseconds? Grab a drink, loosen your tinfoil hat, and join us for a conversation that’s equal parts economic insight, tech reality check, and liberty-loving skepticism.

8/14/2025: If by "Defend the Guard", you mean...w/ special guest Dan McKnight
Thursday Aug 14, 2025
Thursday Aug 14, 2025
Jason and Mark sit down with Dan McKnight — former U.S. Marine, Idaho Army National Guardsman, and founder of Defend the Guard and Bring Our Troops Home — to talk about why America’s endless wars are not only unconstitutional, but flat-out bad policy. From the Founders’ intent for war powers to the modern swamp’s habit of sending young Americans into conflicts Congress never declared, Dan brings a soldier’s grit and a constitutionalist’s clarity.
Expect fiery conversation, some unvarnished truth about the military-industrial complex, and more than a few laughs as we explore why defending liberty at home means keeping troops out of undeclared wars abroad.
Because nothing says “support the troops” quite like bringing them home.

8/4/2025: If by red pills, rabbit holes & reboots, you mean...
Monday Aug 04, 2025
Monday Aug 04, 2025
In this episode of If By Whiskey, Jason and Mark crack open the chaos of the recent mind-bending conversation between Dr. Jordan Peterson and Dilbert creator Scott Adams. What starts as a polite back-and-forth about politics, perception, and persuasion quickly spirals into a cosmic cocktail of simulation theory, Trumpism, and the weaponization of narrative.
We break down the big ideas—what’s real, what’s hypnotic, and what’s just Scott Adams having a moment—and debate whether Peterson is the last philosopher standing or just trying to make sense of a world that’s gone full Black Mirror. It's part therapy session, part libertarian group chat, and all weirdly compelling.
Pour a stiff one—this episode’s a rabbit hole with no bottom.

Pour yourself something strong, because this episode of If By Whiskey might get you canceled just for listening. Jason and Mark welcome the brilliantly unfiltered Dr. Stanley K. Ridgley, author of "DEI Exposed: How the Biggest Con of the Century Almost Toppled Higher Education", to take a flamethrower to the bureaucratic buzzwords taking over universities and HR departments everywhere.
We’re talking about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion—aka the Holy Trinity of Virtue Signaling—and Dr. Ridgley’s here to reveal what’s really going on behind those glossy training videos and awkward corporate retreats. From Marxist roots to modern madness, we break down how DEI became a billion-dollar industry built on guilt, jargon, and PowerPoint slides.

What does Liberty really mean in 2025? How did the Founders enshrine it in the Declaration, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights? And perhaps the most pressing question of all: is America still holding up its end of the deal?
With a mix of historical insight, philosophical musing, and a splash of whiskey-fueled honesty, Jason & Mark unpack the meaning of freedom—both as it was intended and as it's being practiced. From natural rights theory to modern overreach, join the conversation that’s as patriotic as it is provocative.

Tuesday Jul 01, 2025
Tuesday Jul 01, 2025
Part 2: In this episode of If By Whiskey, Jason and Mark pour a stiff one and dive headfirst into the high-stakes intellectual rumble between Jordan Peterson and Sam Harris, recorded on June 6th, 2025. The conversation at hand? Nothing short of the collapse of collective truth.
Peterson and Harris confront the disintegration of trust in our institutions, the weaponization of information, and the chaos unleashed by digital platforms that now shape — and often shatter — our shared sense of reality. Harris sounds the alarm on the rise of independent media and misinformation in a post-October 7th world, while Peterson wrestles with the philosophical roots of identity, authority, and meaning in an age where deepfakes can rewrite your past in seconds.
Jason and Mark break it all down with their signature blend of sharp analysis, dry wit, and a touch of irreverence — from the psychological effects of algorithm-driven platforms like X, to the eerie frontier of AI-induced identity theft, to the bigger question: Can we rebuild institutional trust without losing our individual agency?
Pour a glass, take a seat, and prepare for a sobering conversation about truth, technology, and the digital ghosts we’ve unleashed.

Sunday Jun 29, 2025
In this mind-bending episode of If By Whiskey, hosts Jason and Mark sit down with the legendary Howard Bloom—scientific thinker, cultural critic, and author of the provocative new book The Case of the Sexual Cosmos: Everything You Know About Nature Is Wrong.
Buckle up as we explore Bloom’s radical thesis: that nature isn’t driven by brute competition and survival of the fittest, but by an ancient, erotic yearning for connection, creativity, and beauty. From the sex lives of bacteria to the cosmic dance of galaxies, Bloom pulls back the curtain on a universe where desire, not destruction, is the engine of evolution.
It’s a conversation that challenges Darwin, defies conventional science, and may just change the way you see life itself.

Mark extends an invitation to Adam Stevens to discuss a fb post (below).
"Israel are Russia. They issued a completely unprovoked attack on another sovereign nation. Change my mind." (I include America, after 6/21/2025)
Adam Stevens is a principled advocate, businessman, and political strategist whose life and leadership are shaped by deep personal history and moral responsibility. The grandson of Holocaust survivors and a proud American Jew, Adam’s family were original charter members of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., a testament to their enduring commitment to remembrance and truth. He has been interviewed by Bloomberg News and German Public Radio for his advocacy through the Republican Jewish Coalition, emphasizing the importance of Jewish political engagement, a strong U.S. Israel alliance, and enduring conservative values. Drawing on his background as a seasoned real estate professional and coalition-builder, Adam also leads efforts through Harbor of Light, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting victims of the porn industry and sex trafficking while advancing justice and cultural renewal. He brings clarity, courage, and conviction to difficult conversations, especially when silence is not an option.

It’s No Kings Day, and your favorite philosophical troublemakers, Jason and Mark, are raising a glass to freedom—and questioning the price of it. In this spirited episode of If By Whiskey, the duo unpacks the meaning behind No Kings Day: a cheeky celebration of self-governance, independence, and the radical idea that no one rules unless you let them.
Then it’s off to the dusty plains of FreedomFest, where liberty-lovers, crypto cowboys, and anti-authoritarian oddballs gather in the name of ideas too spicy for polite society. Jason and Mark dive into the wild mix of intellectual debates, free-market evangelism, and just the right amount of tinfoil that makes FreedomFest the Woodstock of the libertarian world.
Whether you’re sipping bourbon or black coffee, this episode is your invitation to toast the madness of monarchy, the beauty of dissent, and the weird, wonderful chaos of living free. No gods, no masters—just microphones, mischief, and a few hard truths.

4/10/2015: If by Intellectual Property...w/ guest @iam4iamWe (X)
Thursday Apr 10, 2025
Thursday Apr 10, 2025
Jason & Mark welcome @iam4iamWe (X) for a conversation about Intellectual Property (I.P.) and the week's events.
Meet iam4iam—husband, father, grandfather, and the only child whosomehow ended up with brothers (don’t ask, it’s a long story about how Igrew-up quickly).
Once a Mormon missionary preaching in Japan, now an agnostic-theist who’sstill waiting for the divine to RSVP.
He is an Agorist with a capital ‘A,’ wielding the Non-Aggression Principle likea samurai sword and dreaming of a world where voluntarism isn’t just abuzzword.
He has climbed corporate ladders at a three-letter giant. He has told CEO'stheir companies were worth more as scrap metal than going concerns. Sadly,he was the guy that decided should a company continue or be shutdown, knowing real people would lose their jobs.
A retired entrepreneur, iam4iam says he has a stain on his soul from a brieflobbying gig—spoiler: the State’s corruption is deeper than a politician’spockets. He has since divorced himself from the system and pledgedallegiance to liberty.
His KOLBE score calls him a Quick Start who somehow is also a Researcher.Meyers-Briggs says he is an ENTP (or ENTJ on a good day), a quick-wittedvisionary who’s been called ‘evergreen young’ and can’t resist shiny newtech like Blockchain.
He has counseled Crypto projects, fixed broken businesses, and now tinkerwith DAOs in his ‘retirement.’
As a political and Geo-political junky, he enjoys real dialogue. This isespecially true when they are conversations that include physics to theology,or Geo-politics with a sprinkle of economics. Good conversations aboutconspiracies and even the supernatural catches his attention.
He says, good conversations usually start with the wild, the weird, and the‘why not?’
Oh, and if he is not talking about REAL Economic and Political Solutions, thenit’s because he is attending to his other duties as the First in the World, elected Emperor of a DAO.
We suspect they will put on his tombstone someday, “Buried here is thebona fide, unanimously elected, first in the World, Emperor of a DAO, andthe Emperor of the DENDAO or Den.Social.

2/6/2025: Human Rights: Debate Between Positive & Negative Rights
Thursday Feb 06, 2025
Thursday Feb 06, 2025
Are human rights about freedom—or free stuff? In this explosive episode, we tackle one of the most controversial debates in political philosophy: positive vs. negative rights. Should rights be limited to protections against government interference, like free speech and property rights? Or do they also include entitlements, like free healthcare and education, that demand someone else's labor? We break down the history, the philosophy, and the real-world consequences of both perspectives. Do positive rights lead to a stronger, more just society, or do they pave the way for government overreach and forced redistribution? Is a right still a right if it requires taking from someone else?Prepare for a heated discussion on freedom, responsibility, and the role of government in your life. Where do you stand? Tune in, challenge your beliefs, and join the debate!Outro: ”Goodnight, Sweetheart, Goodnight” - This score is in public domain and may be freely downloaded, printed, and performed. We discuss parts 6 & 7 of Scott Horton's book "Provoked", from page 427 (Hamilton 68 & #TwitterFiles) to page 597 (Killer MIC). Special guest: Dave DeCamp
In this explosive episode, we unpack the revelations from Parts 6 & 7 of Scott Horton's "Provoked", exposing the deep entanglement of government agencies, media organizations, and Big Tech in shaping public perception and silencing dissenting voices. From the Hamilton 68 dashboard’s fraudulent claims about Russian bots to the shocking censorship apparatus revealed by the Twitter Files, we reveal how misinformation was weaponized to manipulate political discourse and suppress free speech. With Jacob, Shaun, and Mark leading the discussion and featuring guest insights from Dave DeCamp, we explore: The Hamilton 68 Hoax – How a coalition of intelligence operatives and media figures falsely branded ordinary Americans as Russian agents to justify mass censorship. The Twitter Files Revelations – Internal documents showing Silicon Valley’s collaboration with the FBI, Pentagon, and political operatives to control the digital narrative. The Role of NGOs and Academia – How think tanks, universities, and media outlets contributed to a sprawling "censorship-industrial complex." Government Interference in Speech – Shocking cases where U.S. and foreign governments pressured social media giants to silence dissenting voices, even journalists and private citizens. What Comes Next? – The long-term implications of state-sponsored censorship and how we fight back against this assault on free expression. If you’re ready to challenge the official narrative and uncover the truth behind modern information warfare, this is an episode you won’t want to miss. Subscribe now and join the conversation!
